My almost-four-year-old is a dedicated snacker. She can finish breakfast and, by the time we return from dropping her brother at school, she’s already ready for something to nibble. To keep things interesting without a lot of fuss, I rely on pantry staples and simple combinations. These Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana RITZ® Bites are one of our go-to salty-sweet snacks that take minutes to assemble.
I always keep RITZ® crackers stocked because they’re versatile and go with just about anything—plain as a crunchy treat, used with dips, or topped for a bite-sized snack. At Walmart you’ll find a variety of RITZ® flavors in the crackers and cookies aisle, so pick your favorite.

For this easy recipe you only need RITZ® crackers, banana slices, peanut butter, and chocolate chips. I usually keep mini chocolate chips on hand for recipes like chocolate chip pancakes, and they work great here, but regular chips are fine too.

The assembly is straightforward and kid-friendly. Start by placing a banana slice on a RITZ® cracker.

Add a dollop of peanut butter on top of the banana for creaminess and protein.

Finish with a few chocolate chips pressed into the peanut butter so they adhere. That’s it—ready to eat and delicious.

My daughter loved these little bites, and they’ve become a frequent snack at our house—perfect for busy mornings, an after-school nibble, or a simple party platter.
