Welcome to day 5 of the 12 Days of Christmas Sweets. Today I’m sharing a simple, festive cookie that’s perfect for holiday parties, cookie swaps, and neighbor gifts. These Cranberry Cream Cheese White Chocolate Chip Cookies are quick to make because they start with a sugar cookie mix and only need a few extra ingredients.
The flavor impressed me — the cookies are sweet with a subtle cream cheese tang, and the sweetened cranberries (craisins) pair beautifully with white chocolate chips. The cookies bake up very light in color, and the red cranberry pieces give a pretty, seasonal contrast that looks lovely on a platter.

Ingredients
- 4 oz (113 g) cream cheese, cold
- ¼ cup (57 g) butter, cold
- 1 Tbsp water
- 1 large egg
- 17.5 oz (496 g) pouch sugar cookie mix
- 1 cup (120 g) sweetened dried cranberries (craisins)
- 1 cup (170 g) white chocolate chips
Instructions
-
Beat the cream cheese and butter until smooth. If they are very cold, let them sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes before creaming, then scrape the bowl.
-
Add the water, egg, and cookie mix to the cream cheese mixture and blend until just combined.
-
Fold in the dried cranberries and white chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
-
Scoop dough into small balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Gently flatten the tops. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 9–10 minutes, or until the edges are set and just barely golden.
