Ingredients

  • 15.25 oz (432 g) box chocolate cake mix, NOT the variety with pudding in the mix
  • ¾ cup (60 g) unsweetened cocoa powder, divided
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 ⅓ cups (315 ml) water
  • 1 cup (240 g) MIRACLE WHIP Dressing

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ cups (300 g) sifted powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare a 13×9-inch pan by spraying with cooking spray and lightly coating with flour; set aside. In a large bowl, stir together the cake mix and ½ cup of the cocoa. Add the eggs, water, and MIRACLE WHIP; beat with a mixer until well blended. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool.
  • For the frosting: Beat the cream cheese, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Gradually add the sifted powdered sugar combined with the remaining ¼ cup cocoa, beating well after each addition. Spread the frosting evenly over the cooled cake.
