Smooth coconut ice cream, a tangy squeeze of lime, and fizzy Coca-Cola combine to make an irresistible ice cream-soda float.
If you enjoy this treat, you might also like fluffy soda.

Meet your new favorite soda float: Dirty Coke Floats. Inspired by the popular “dirty diet coke” trend, this version pairs creamy coconut ice cream with a bright squeeze of lime and cold Coca-Cola. I used my no-churn coconut ice cream, but store-bought coconut gelato works just as well. The combination is refreshingly tropical with a fizzy finish—perfect for warm days, backyard gatherings, or any time you want a simple, fun dessert drink.

You don’t need to wait for summer—make this whenever you’re craving an ice cream float. I like to let the ice cream soften a little so it swirls into the soda and creates a creamy, frothy texture. For an even thicker, slushy-style treat, you can blend the ingredients into a freeze. If you prefer a different soda, Dr. Pepper or Pepsi are tasty alternatives. The recipe is quick and flexible—grab coconut gelato at the store if you need it right away.

Instructions
-
Squeeze half a lime into a large cup (about 2 tablespoons of juice).
-
Pour one 12-ounce can of Coca-Cola into the cup.
