This Strawberry Balsamic Vinaigrette is a fruit-and-yogurt-based dressing with tangy balsamic vinegar — only about 13 calories per 2 Tbsp serving.

I recently joined a six-week health challenge that kept me focused on daily habits: consistent sleep, hydration, short workouts, and sticking to a meal plan. As part of that routine I began eating many fruit-and-vegetable-packed salads, and I wanted a lighter, fruit-forward dressing to switch things up. That’s how this Strawberry Balsamic Vinaigrette was born.

Strawberries are abundant and affordable in summer, so I often keep a stash in the fridge. I wanted a dressing that combined fresh fruit flavor with the bright acidity of balsamic and a touch of creaminess from yogurt. The result is a vibrant, versatile vinaigrette that brightens simple greens, grain bowls, or even grilled chicken.

When I entered the recipe into my favorite calorie tracker, the numbers worked out so that 2 tablespoons equal roughly 13 calories, making this an excellent low-calorie option if you want to dress your salad generously without worrying about the numbers.
