When evenings are busy, I need simple dinners that still taste special. This Chicken Alfredo Garlic Bread Pizza fits the bill — it’s easy, comforting, and loaded with flavor.

French bread pizza is familiar to most people, but turning the base into garlic bread elevates the whole dish. The garlic butter you choose really matters — it’s the foundation of flavor here.

I like to use Chef Shamy Gourmet Parmesan Basil Garlic Butter for this recipe. It’s highly flavorful so a little goes a long way. Other varieties from the brand—like French Onion Garlic Butter or Cinnamon Brown Sugar Honey Butter—are also great for different applications. Chef Shamy’s butter is made from real dairy butter without GMOs or oils, and it keeps well, which makes it convenient to keep on hand.

The product’s texture softens to a spreadable consistency at room temperature, making it ideal for spreading on bread, tossing with vegetables, or finishing sandwiches.

For the pizza I split a loaf of French bread in half, spread a thin layer of garlic butter on each cut side, and layered pre-cooked sliced chicken tossed in Alfredo sauce on top. Then I added thin ribbons of spinach, sliced red onion, real bacon bits, and shredded mozzarella. A crack of fresh black pepper before baking finishes it off.

Pop the assembled loaf into a 350°F oven for about 20 minutes, until the cheese melts and gets lightly browned. In roughly 30 minutes from start to finish you’ll have a satisfying dinner that showcases that savory garlic butter base.

The garlic butter is the key — it seasons the bread and ties the Alfredo chicken and toppings together. Leftovers store well in the refrigerator and reheat nicely in the oven for a few minutes to crisp the crust again.
