This drink brings back such fond memories. I first tasted it at a friend’s wedding where I had baked the cake. It was the first “real” wedding cake I ever made. I spent the whole day working on it and couldn’t wait to see how it looked after the florist added the flowers. When I returned for the reception I discovered a fingerprint in one of the dot decorations of my precious cake—thanks, florist! Despite that little disaster, they served this drink at the reception and I loved it so much I asked for the recipe. It’s only two ingredients.

This is an effortless, crowd-pleasing beverage—simple, delicious, and family friendly. Kids love fizzy drinks, and because this one is white it won’t easily stain clothing. I liked it so much that I served it at my own wedding reception. It’s perfect for gatherings and celebrations: bright, refreshing and impossibly easy to prepare.
