These easy No Bake Peanut Butter Bars taste very much like a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup. They’re a crowd-pleasing treat with a slightly crunchy, sweet peanut butter base and a silky chocolate topping.

Peanut butter and chocolate are a classic pairing for good reason—their creamy combination is unbeatable. I had these No Bake Peanut Butter Bars on my list to try for a long time, and after tasting them at a friend’s barbecue, I regretted not making them sooner. They’re simple, nostalgic, and irresistibly delicious.

The texture is similar to my Peanut Butter Pie but without a crust. The peanut butter layer gains a pleasant, slightly crunchy bite from finely ground graham cracker crumbs. That added texture complements the creamy peanut butter and keeps each square satisfying without feeling heavy.

Best of all, these bars are incredibly quick to assemble. They need a short chill time in the refrigerator or freezer to set, but hands-on time is minimal. They’re a perfect option when you want a decadent dessert with very little fuss.

Ingredients
Peanut Butter Layer:
- 2 cups (208 g) finely ground graham crackers, (about 13 graham crackers)
- 2 cups (240 g) powdered sugar, (+ up to ½ cup more)
- 1 cup (264 g) creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup (226 g) butter, melted
Chocolate Layer:
- 1 ½ cups (255 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ¼ cup (61 g) creamy peanut butter
Instructions
-
In a large bowl, combine the finely ground graham crackers, powdered sugar, and peanut butter. Stir in the melted butter and mix until the mixture comes together. If the mixture seems too wet, add up to 1/2 cup more powdered sugar, but avoid over-drying. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of an ungreased 9×13-inch pan.
-
To make the chocolate layer, microwave the chocolate chips and 1/4 cup peanut butter for 30 seconds, stir, then heat in 15-second intervals, stirring frequently, until smooth. Alternatively, melt them together using a double boiler. Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer and smooth with a spatula. Chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or place in the freezer for 15 minutes until the chocolate is just set. Cut into squares and keep refrigerated.
