Homemade Texas Roadhouse Style Cinnamon Butter Recipe

Copycat Texas Roadhouse Butter

If you saw my post on Sunday for Texas Roadhouse Rolls, this is the perfect companion: Copycat Texas Roadhouse Butter. A warm roll isn’t truly complete without butter, and this version hits the spot — a creamy blend that balances honey sweetness with a hint of cinnamon. It’s the best of both worlds.

I have a secret weakness for bread and butter. Early in my marriage I once ate butter with nearly every meal on a honeymoon cruise — probably why I gained extra weight back then — so enjoy this treat in moderation. Still, a soft roll slathered with this honey-cinnamon butter is worth it.

Other than their famous appetizer, Texas Roadhouse’s menu is not my usual choice, but I will always make room for their warm rolls and butter. Why go out when you can recreate it at home? Copycat recipes let you make plenty and enjoy them whenever you like. Enjoy!

8 servings

Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, (1 stick) room temperature
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 ½ Tbsp honey
  • ½ to 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ⅛ tsp salt

Instructions

  • Using the whisk attachment on a stand mixer or a hand mixer, beat the butter, powdered sugar, honey, cinnamon, and salt until smooth and fully combined. For a milder cinnamon flavor use the lower amount.
  • Transfer the butter to a serving dish. Spread on warm rolls with a knife or spatula. Store at room temperature for easy spreading or refrigerate if you prefer a firmer butter.
