Refreshing Strawberry Guava Popsicle Recipe for Summer

Strawberry Guava Popsicles

I bought a set of tiny popsicle molds at the Dollar Tree to make homemade treats for my kids this summer — they were adorable and perfect for little hands. I started experimenting right away and settled on this simple, refreshing recipe. The combination of strawberry, guava nectar, and vanilla Greek yogurt creates a delicate, slightly sweet flavor with a thick, creamy texture from the yogurt.

These popsicles are quick to prepare and well-suited for small molds. They’re an excellent option for a hot day or an easy dessert after a meal. The recipe yields eight small popsicles and can be adjusted to suit your mold size or flavor preferences.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup vanilla Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup guava nectar, (found in the juice aisle)
  • ½ lb strawberries, rinsed & hulled

Instructions

  • Place the strawberries, guava nectar, and vanilla Greek yogurt in a blender and blend until smooth. If you prefer a seed-free texture, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl.
  • Pour the blended mixture into prepared popsicle molds, leaving a small gap at the top for expansion.
  • Freeze for at least 4 hours, or longer depending on mold size, until fully set. To remove, run the outside of the mold briefly under warm water and gently pull the popsicles free.

Notes

  • Small disposable cups and wooden sticks work well if you don’t have molds. Cover each cup with plastic wrap, poke the stick through the center to hold it in place, then freeze. To unmold, run the outside of the cup under warm water and twist slightly to release the popsicle.
