Add the ingredients for this wrapped asparagus appetizer to your grocery list right now. Whether it’s been a while since you had asparagus or you’re tempted by the bread, herbs, and cheese wrapped around each spear, this recipe is worth making.

We don’t always eat many vegetables at my house—some weeks we have lots, others none at all. My kids are picky, so introducing new veggies can be a challenge. When I served these wrapped asparagus spears they showed interest: “What are those, Mom?” “Do they taste good?” “Can I try just a tiny bite?” Often a new presentation is all it takes to get them to try something different.
I grew up with mainly canned vegetables—corn, peas, and green beans—so fresh or frozen produce feels like a real upgrade. My oldest son enjoyed these with a simple dill dip my husband improvised. My daughter wasn’t a fan, but my husband and I happily ate most of them for lunch.

This wrapped asparagus appetizer is quick to assemble and visually appealing—perfect for a spring gathering, holiday brunch, or an elegant dinner with friends. If asparagus is in season where you are, pick some up and try this simple, flavorful recipe.
