Created by Amber Brady
Ingredients
- 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
- ¼ cup (59 ml) milk (Almond milk works for lactose-free)
- 1 cup (264 g) creamy peanut butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup (112 g) peanuts (salted blanched suggested)
- 2 cups (52 g) Cheerios
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, bring the sugar and milk to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar.
- Remove from heat and stir in the peanut butter and vanilla until smooth.
- Fold in the peanuts, then add the Cheerios last so they remain crunchy.
- Drop rounded spoonfuls onto parchment, wax paper, or freezer paper (slick side). Let set about 20 minutes.
- Serve with cold milk and enjoy.
