This smoothie feels like a slush—airy and frothy thanks to a splash of soda—yet stays fresh and tropical from pineapple, orange juice, and a touch of coconut milk. Allison keeps her recipes simple and family-friendly, using easy-to-find ingredients so you can whip this up in minutes. I especially appreciate the colorful photos and uncomplicated instructions; there’s something here for everyone, whether you want a quick drink or a full summer menu.

When summer arrives, I picture myself relaxing in the shade with a cold drink while the kids play. This Pineapple Orange Smoothie matches that feeling perfectly. The bright pineapple flavor and cooling ice make it a favorite in my household—my daughter keeps asking for more. It’s light, slightly sweet, and incredibly refreshing.

Try this recipe and consider picking up Sun and Sizzle for more summer-inspired meals and drinks.
