Rich and irresistible, these Cookies & Cream Magic Bars are a simple treat that delivers big on flavor. I first spotted them on Pinterest (where I collect too many recipe ideas), and they were every bit as decadent as I hoped. They bake up easily and release from the pan without fuss—perfect for potlucks, bake sales, or anytime you want a no-fail dessert.

Yields24 squares
Ingredients
- ½ cup (113 g) butter, melted
- 20 regular Oreo cookies, crushed fine into crumbs
- 14 oz (396 g) can sweetened condensed milk, or homemade
- 8 regular Oreo cookies, rough chopped into chunks
- ½ cup (85 g) dark, semi-sweet, or milk chocolate chips
- ¾ cup (128 g) white chocolate chips
- Optional: Substitute any amount of the chips with chopped cookies & cream bars, kisses, or drops
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly coat a 9×13-inch pan with cooking spray.
-
Pour the melted butter into the pan. (Tip: place the pan with the butter in the oven as it preheats to keep the butter melted.) Add the crushed Oreo crumbs and stir to combine. Press the mixture evenly into the pan using the bottom of a measuring cup—expect the crust to be somewhat moist.
-
Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the Oreo crumb layer.
-
Scatter the chopped Oreo chunks and both types of chocolate chips across the top. Gently press them into the condensed milk so they adhere.
-
Bake for 20–30 minutes, depending on your pan—glass pans tend to cook faster than metal. Bake until the edges are set and the center is lightly golden.
-
Allow the bars to cool completely before cutting into squares and serving. Cooling fully helps them hold together and makes slicing neater.
